Account Security

How g118 Protects Your Account at All Times

Your account security is g118's top priority. Our platform is equipped with multiple layers of protection operating behind the scenes without affecting your user experience. Every time you log in, our security system works to ensure your identity is accurately verified and your data remains safe.

256-bit SSL Encryption

All data transmitted between your device and the g118 servers is encrypted using the 256-bit SSL protocol — the same standard used by financial institutions and major banks worldwide. No third party can intercept or read your information.

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

G118 supports two-factor authentication, sending an OTP code to your phone number or email each time you log in from a new device. Even if someone else knows your password, your account remains inaccessible without the OTP code.

Real-Time Activity Monitoring

The g118 monitoring system automatically detects any suspicious login activity — including login attempts from unrecognised locations or devices. You will be notified immediately via email or SMS if any unusual activity occurs.

Automatic Logout on Inactive Session

To protect your account in case you forget to log out, g118 automatically ends inactive sessions after a set period of time. This feature is especially useful when you access your account from a public or shared device.

Important Security Tips

Never share your g118 account password with anyone, including support staff. g118 will never ask for your password via email, SMS, or live chat at any time.
